CITIZEN SMILE:
The Sorriso Cidadão program is a partnership between Hyundai Steel Brazil, the Union of Metallurgists of Piracicaba, the Korean suppliers of Hyundai Motor Brasil and the city of Piracicaba. It is a dental office adapted into a trailer that provides free treatment for children and families, students from public schools and institutions in Piracicaba. In more than 5 years of partnership, more than 50,000 people have benefited from the program. In addition, the most serious dental cases that cannot be treated in the trailer are referred to a clinic specializing in dental surgery.
FEAST OF NATIONS:
Hyundai Steel Brazil has been sponsoring the Festa das Nações de Piracicaba since 2010. Considered the largest solidarity event in the city, the event has been taking place for over 30 years. Annually, HSBR donates a sum to entities participating in the event, which promotes fundraising activities for the Piracicaba Social Solidarity Fund.
